Manchester Arndale secures a host of lease renewals and welcomes Therapie Clinic

Manchester Arndale has announced Therapie Clinic will join its line-up – opening its doors in June. The centre has also secured almost 75,000 sq ft of lease renewals – marking a strong start to 2021.

Therapie Clinic is one of the fastest growing aesthetic medical clinics in Europe. With over 40 clinics and 100 doctors, it offers anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. It also provides an advanced skin treatment approach to cater to individual skin types. Alongside this new signing, the Manchester Arndale asset management team has also secured the renewal of existing leases from tenants including Aldi, Apple, Lego, River Island, Sock Shop and Deichmann.

Home to a range of household names including a mix of retailers, leisure offers and food and beverage outlets, Manchester Arndale sits at the heart of the city.

Scott Linard, portfolio director at M&G Real Estate, comments:  “We are thrilled to welcome Therapie to our line-up. It is a unique offering which responds to the growing demand from among our customers for this type of lifestyle brand. Welcoming a new retailer and renewing the leases of our existing retailers is testament to Manchester Arndale’s position as one of the leading shopping centres in the UK. Manchester Arndale has remained robust and resilient during 2020. We are confident we will continue to add to our strong retail offering throughout 2021 and beyond. We are looking forward to announcing more exciting news very soon.”

CEO of Therapie, Phillip McGlade, said: “We chose to open a clinic at Manchester Arndale because it is well located in the heart of the city which has a great offering.  It is the perfect place for us to offer our world leading services.”

Therapie will sit alongside names such as Apple, Lush, JD Sports and Next.

Manchester Arndale is one of the UK’s largest city centre shopping malls, welcoming over 40 million visitors per annum. It already boasts an impressive line-up of more than 200 shops and restaurants, including national, international and local brands.
