M Core Acquires Four UK Retail Assets across Halifax, Exmouth, Brighton and Liverpool.

M Core adds four established retail and leisure schemes to its UK portfolio, thereby extending its active management program nationwide.

M Core has completed the acquisition of four UK retail assets: Broad Street Plaza in Halifax, Chapel Street Retail Parade in Exmouth, retail units at Abacus House on London Road in Brighton, and Bleasdale Shopping Centre in Aintree, Liverpool. The in-house team at LCP UK, part of M Core will lead asset management for all four properties.

Broad Street Plaza, Halifax

Broad Street Plaza is a town-center leisure and retail scheme in Halifax, anchored by PureGym, Wetherspoon’s, Vue Cinema and Nando’s. The scheme benefits from a multi-storey car park with 429 spaces and occupies a prominent position adjacent to Halifax Town Hall and the main bus station.

One unit is currently vacant, with active leasing discussions under way. Asset management will be led by George Kearney, Senior Asset Manager at LCP UK, part of M Core.

Chapel Street Retail Parade, Exmouth

Chapel Street Retail Parade comprises seven ground-floor retail units totaling approximately 21,700 sq ft, located within Exmouth’s primary shopping area and directly adjacent to the town’s main shopper car park. Occupiers include Caffè Nero, Greggs, Mountain Warehouse, The Works and Superdrug.

One unit is currently vacant and will be the focus of near-term leasing activity. Asset management will be led by George Watson, Senior Asset Manager at LCP UK, part of M Core.

Abacus House, London Road, Brighton

The retail accommodation at Abacus House forms part of a mixed-use development on London Road, one of Brighton’s principal arterial routes.

Ground-floor retail units sit beneath student residential accommodation in an established trading location with strong public transport links. Current occupiers include The Gym Group, Poundstretcher, British Heart Foundation and Nisbets PLC.

Bleasdale Shopping Centre, Aintree, Liverpool

Bleasdale Shopping Centre is a fully let neighborhood retail parade in Aintree, comprising nine retail units, an office, and four self-contained residential flats above, totaling approximately 17,700 sq ft. The scheme occupies a corner site at Altway and Ormskirk Road, with Old Roan railway station directly opposite and Aintree Shopping Park nearby.

Occupiers include William Hill, Maxwell Hodge Solicitors and Waterfields, along with local operators serving a well-established residential catchment. Asset management will be led by Kristein Neve at LCP UK, part of M Core.
