Lyst Index: Fashion’s hottest Brands and Products Q3/2023

Lyst is a fashion technology company and premium shopping app used by more than 200 million people each year to discover and purchase items from brands and stores.

The formula behind The Lyst Index takes into account Lyst shoppers’ behaviour, including searches on and off platform, product views and sales. The Lyst Index is published quarterly and represents the hottest fashion brands compared to the previous quarter.

In its 30th anniversary year Miu Miu has reached the top of the hottest brands ranking in the Q3/2023, relegating Loewe to second place. Still in fourth place last quarter, Miu Miu worked its way up with a great Fall/Winter Collection that had a strong impact on sales -supported by over 223 million views on TikTok and a campaign starring Emma Corrin, Ethel Cain and Zaya Wade. The logo cardigan from the featured collection has really boomed, increasing searches for cardigans by 44%. Third place goes to Miu Miu’s “big sister”, Prada, one place behind the last ranking. Versace, recently on the winner’s podium, now has to settle for fifth place.
Brands that have made good progress in the ranking: Jacquemus has achieved its best result since the Lyst Index began (from 15th to currently 9th) and Burberry (from 14th to 10th). Daniel Lee, Chief Creative Officer has shown his first collection, building positive momentum for the brand. Ferragamo, with the support of Gigi Hadid and Solange Knowles, has the first appearance in the Index.
Louis Vuitton has fallen five places to 16th and Dior three places to 13th.

The trendiest product is the Tabi, the cult shoe by Maison Margiela. Searches for the Tabi increased by 342% in September. Followed by the Logo – Cardigan by Miu Miu and the Quilted Bag by Cos.
