Komfort, Bel-Pol and Flugger expand their footprint in Homepark Targówek, Poland

Komfort, Bel-Pol and Flugger have expanded their footprint in HOMEPARK Targówek in Warsaw to a combined area of close to 4,000 sq m. The transaction was brokered by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.

Komfort provides comprehensive fit-out solutions for all types of rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms. Its stores carry a wide range of floor panels, wooden floors, rugs, carpets, doors, decorations, bathroom and kitchenware. Komfort also offers bathroom and kitchen fit-out designs. It provides inspiration and access to key refurbishment services such as design, assembly, measurement, transport, and furniture delivery. Komfort operates a network of around 160 stores across Poland. Its store in HOMEPARK Targówek has an area of close to 3,000 sq m and a vast array of products.

Bel-Pol is a distributor of high quality, modern and innovative fit-out materials for better home comfort. It runs both a wholesale business and more than 90 retail stores throughout Poland. Its ten distribution centres supply products to 2,000 wholesale warehouses and stores across the country, and cooperate with investor-clients by providing delivery and assembly services in buildings, multifamily developments, hotels, offices, etc. In 2020, the firm had revenue of over PLN 500 million. Bel-Pol has, for years, been the leader in the floor and door industry in terms of revenue and customer ratings. Its success and growth are underpinned by the skills of 800+ staff and cooperation with leading architects and suppliers. Under its new lease, Bel-Pol’s store in HOMEPARK Targówek has tripled in size to 1,054 sq m.

Flugger carries an extensive range of high quality paints, wood stains, fillers and painting accessories in close to 400 stores across Europe, including 53 in Poland. Its new store in HOMEPARK Targówek has an area of 298 sq m.

“The store expansion by the three tenants, that is Komfort, Flugger, Bel-Pol, comes as a result of excellent cooperation between the landlord and tenants of PRADERA’s shopping centres. This illustrates that brick-and-mortar retailing continues to grow and Polish people enjoy shopping in places that provide an in-store experience and an opportunity to touch and feel a product, to talk to salespeople, ask for advice, and to make some complementary purchases in other stores within a shopping centre. All the HOMEPARK retail parks are superb for shopping for homeware as well as other products and services – they will certainly meet the needs of customers,” says Beata Kokeli, Head of Retail Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.

“The expansion of our tenants, all of whom are leading market brands, clearly illustrates the popularity of retail parks as a shopping destination. Our complementary offer of interior construction and fit-out products and homeware has also been combined with that of other popular stores as we continue to improve our tenant-mix. All this makes HOMEPARK Targówek a convenient, safe and – first and foremost – much-loved shopping destination for the inhabitants of Warsaw and the surrounding areas,” says Agata Brzezińska, Head of CEE at Pradera.

HOMEPARK Targówek has an area of over 74,545 sq m and is anchored by specialist and popular DIY and homeware brands. Thanks to its unique tenant-mix, the retail park also offers fashion (TK Maxx, CCC) electronics (EURO RTV AGD, Sony Centre), and sports stores (Sports Direct), as well as products for children (Smyk Megastore and Świat Dziecka) and a wide range of pet products (Maxi Zoo and Kakadu). Its offer is complemented by popular drugstores: Rossmann and Superpharm. Other tenants of HOMEPARK Targówek include a Lidl store selling a wide range of consumer staples, an ENEL-MED clinic, a fitness club and F&B operators.

HOMEPARK Targówek is property-managed by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
