Harper Dennis Hobbs strengthens leisure team with appointment of Simon Carson as Head of Leisure

Carson joined Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH) on November 6, 2019 as a Director and is heading up the leisure team at HDH.

Carson brings with him a wealth of experience, specifically within the Leisure sector, having been in the industry since 2010. He has worked with many well-known brands during his previous roles at Stephen Kane & Company and DeVono Cresa before founding his own company SC&Co in 2017.

SC&Co has represented some renowned brands including By Chloe, Ceviche, Paramount Lebanese Kitchen, Simple Health Kitchen, Speciality Hospitality Group, Teds Grooming Room and Zia Lucia. SC&Co, similarly to HDH, specialises in tenant only representation, advising clients on their real estate strategy. This should bode well for integrating the synergies of the two firms with Simon bringing SC&Co clients over to HDH as a part of this move.

James Ebel, Chief Executive Officer at HDH commented: “The leisure team at HDH prides itself on being ahead of the curve when it comes to providing first class advice to clients, whether a restaurant, cinema or nightclub. Our leisure division continues to grow at pace with a strong client base including Shake Shack, Tamarind Tiger, Copper Chimney and Blaze Pizza amongst others. I am extremely happy to have attracted someone of Simon’s calibre into the business at this exciting time. He brings with him incredibly strong knowledge and experience which will be vital as we continue our ambitious plans to grow.”

Carson added: “I’m delighted to join HDH at such an exciting time for leisure retailing. It’s a fantastic opportunity to combine our specialist real estate expertise and local market insights; delivering results with a personable touch, which is forward thinking and continues to build long term client relationships. I have respected HDH’s brand and values as a competitor over many years and I am excited to join a progressive company at this stage of my career.”
