On 196 square meters on QUARREE’s basement floor, the Barrique shop will complement its comprehensive offer for daily needs with an assortment to enjoy deliberately delightful moments in everyday life.
“Enjoyment starts with shopping.“ This is the motto of the franchise chain Barrique, with its carefully selected product range for connoisseurs and gourmets: Wines from all around the world, fine spirits and liqueurs, vinegars and cooking oils, delicatessen products ranging from pastries to mixed spices and chocolate, as well as individually arranged gift baskets. Customers can try and taste almost all of them at the shop. Furthermore, the small bistro, which is integrated into the shop, invites its guests to take a break and have a coffee or a glass of wine along with a delicious snack. So far, there are more than 30 Barrique shops all over Germany.
The new shop at QUARREE will be the first one in Hamburg and was designed in accordance with a freshly revised shop concept. The salesroom will be equipped with barrique barrels to create an atmosphere that is reminiscent of tastings among friends in a wine cellar. The relaxed atmosphere helps customers to slow down and take their time to choose the products he or she wants to enjoy him/herself or give away as gifts. Many of the spirits, vinegars, and oils are individually bottled at the store from big glass balloons.

The store’s location on QUARREE’s basement floor, near ALDI and Budni, will bring in many customers and therefore I am very optimistic about the future.”
His knowledge and passion for wine and viticulture is something that the native Austrian would like to share during themed events and tastings at the store–a perfect tool for customer retention, from which QUARREE can benefit as well.
