The currently developed section will welcome RTV Euro AGD and ALDI, which will complement Promenada’s grocery offering alongside the already operating Carrefour. In doing so, the centre is further developing its dual-anchor grocery model, responding to the growing importance of convenience shopping and customers’ everyday needs. A similar solution is already successfully operating at G City Reduta, where the presence of two major grocery brands has contributed to increased visit frequency.
The same part of the investment will also include a new store of an international fashion brand. In March last year, PRIMARK officially announced its further expansion in Poland, identifying among its upcoming locations G City Promenada and G City Biała in Białystok, both owned by G City Europe.

– The start of construction marks the launch of the first phase of Promenada’s expansion, which is part of a broader development strategy for this location. We are consistently strengthening the centre’s offer with brands and functions that respond to residents’ everyday needs and evolving customer expectations. This new phase will naturally complement the existing Promenada, enhancing its retail, service and lifestyle offer. We believe that the continued expansion and development of the surrounding area will not only increase footfall but also significantly extend the centre’s catchment area, further reinforcing Promenada’s position as the dominant retail destination in Warsaw. Its strong market position was additionally confirmed by the BEST PERFORMANCE award at last year’s PRCH Retail Awards, granted in recognition of its business performance and high-quality asset management – says Or Ackerman, CEO G City Europe.
At the same time, G City emphasizes that the phase currently underway does not represent the full scope of the development previously presented by the company. The next planned stage is expected to deliver an additional several thousand square metres of retail space and dozens of new units, including food & beverage and entertainment concepts.

“Designed to integrate harmoniously with the surrounding urban fabric, the project is a key element of the Promenada Village concept – a multifunctional destination combining residential, retail, dining and entertainment functions, as well as welcoming public spaces. The residential buildings already delivered in the immediate vicinity of Promenada, comprising 442 apartments, have achieved full occupancy, confirming the potential of this part of Warsaw as an attractive place to live and meet daily needs.”
