FCR buys two specialty stores in Lügde and Zeithain

FCR Immobilien AG expands its portfolio with the purchases of two fully leased specialty stores in Lügde (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Zeithain (Saxony).

The well-established store in Lügde, a town of 10,000 inhabitants in the northeast of North Rhine-Westphalia, was built in 2004 on an area of around 15,000 sq m and has a sales area of around 6,400 sq m and 180 parking spaces. The property, which is conveniently located on a busy main road, is fully let to toom, one of the leading DIY retail chains and a subsidiary of the REWE Group.

The store in Zeithain, a municipality with a good 5,000 inhabitants in the north-west of the Meißen district in Saxony, was built in 1993 on a site of over 36,000 sq m and offers a sales area of around 7,850 sq m and 650 parking spaces. Anchor tenants are the German specialist retail chain Hammer and a local furniture market.

Falk Raudies, founder and CEO of FCR Immobilien AG: “Our maxim is to buy fast and well. A simple formula for success, but one that is backed by continuous hard work and an efficient, effective organization. Our two latest acquisitions in Lügde and Zeithain show that this pays off profitably in the long term. I am also very optimistic that we will be able to further expand our existing portfolio in the short term.”
