Eurofund Group announces a new deal with UCI Cinemas, at UBBO in Lisbon. Once the new cinema opens, after its refurbishments, UBBO is to further enhance its position as one of the main leisure destinations in the Portuguese capital.

Launching at the end of Summer 2023, UCI Luxe at UBBO’s shopping resort will boast more than 4,000 sq m, 11 exclusive cinema projection rooms, and a total of 981 seats. Each seat will be VIP, reclinable, and spacious, with a personal table, and more room between rows. Its large screens and cutting-edge sound and projection technology will enable a multi-sensory experience.

From arthouse films to blockbusters, the cinema’s program will include a variety of movies, as well as concerts, sports, and live broadcasts. Javier Martín, Leasing Director Eurofund Group, remarked: “We at Eurofund Group are very proud of the achievement of this important transaction, meaning a complete success for UBBO. The company’s mission in Portugal is to turn UBBO into a unique shopping resort, with unparalleled retail and entertainment offers, and to boost exceptional service to both the end customer and our tenants so that every visit to the center is unforgettable.”

With a continued program of upgrading and upscaling, we look to consolidate UBBO’s reputation to continue Portugal’s N.1 retail and leisure destination.”

The sales performance was equally spectacular, with a 22% increase compared to previous years.”
