Eobuwie.pl opened its first foreign store in Prague, Czech Republic

On Friday, July 30, eobuwie.pl opened its first store in the Czech Republic in the Novy Smichov shopping mall in Prague. It is a debut on foreign markets and at the same time the beginning of the expansion of the international fixed-line network of the Polish company.

Prague customers will get to know the concept equipped with the latest technologies, which combines the offer of two brands: eobuv.cz and MODIVO. And that means 100,000 of products available immediately, interactive fitting rooms and delivery of products directly from the store to any place in Prague even in 90 minutes. Partner Nanovo is responsible for digital experiences.

So far, the company has been present in the Czech Republic in the online channel. Eobuwie.pl started selling on this market in 2014.

– The Czech Republic is especially close to us. We debut at our southern neighbors with another groundbreaking project. This time, we are pleased to invite customers to shop in the new formula at the popular Novy Smichov shopping center. The format of the Prague salon has been enriched with the MODIVO fashion portfolio. Customers will be able to complete a complete styling in one place – says Mikołaj Wezdecki, Member of the Management Board and Director of e-commerce at eobuwie.pl.

The latest technology during shopping

– We are glad that we are opening the first foreign store in Prague, where our products have been known for 8 years. Our clients will have the opportunity to experience a completely new shopping experience with us – combining online and offline – says Roman Puchała, General Manager of CCC and eobuwie.pl in the Czech Republic.

The showroom in Prague, which takes up 1,800 sq m, focuses on full digitization. Physical display of the products has been abandoned as they are presented on tablets and multimedia screens.

Customers will also be able to take advantage of the free esize.me service. It’s a 3D foot scanning system. Thanks to it, the client receives recommendations regarding the size of footwear from the entire online offer, regardless of the brand or style. And all this without having to physically try on the shoes.

– We are extremely proud that the Nanovo technology supports eobuwie.pl and MODIVO in the first step of foreign expansion of retail stores. The success of this concept in Poland and the interest it has aroused among customers are enormous. I believe that a similar scenario will also repeat itself in Prague. At the same time, in the Czech Republic, Nanovo operates the Sephora and Cinema City chains. For this reason, we decided to open an office in the capital of this country and start local commercial activities – says Piotr Badowski, CEO of Nanovo.

Express delivery even in 90 minutes

Additionally, the Same Day Delivery service, i.e. same-day delivery, is planned to be launched in Prague in September.

– We focus on the highest standards of service, which is why we will offer express delivery in the agglomeration, even in 90 minutes.
