BEST IN COMMERCIALISATION CELEBRATED AT THE REVO OPAL AWARDS

The best in commercialisation programmes across UK retail destinations were celebrated at the Revo Opal Awards presentation breakfast on April 5, 2017, at the British Museum, London.

The Revo Opal Awards, in its fifth year, are the only awards programme to truly encompass and reflect the entire breadth and scope of commercialisation activity in shopping places.

Over 200 guests attended the Breakfast Presentation, hosted by Joel Dormett, fresh out of his success in this year’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here”, and over 20 winners presented. The prestigious Opal Aurora award having achieved the highest score across all categories was awarded to Land Securities, for Taste Buchanan @ Buchanan Galleries.

Jackie Tracey, Chair of the Revo Opal Awards Taskforce says “This year’s Opal Awards has once again not only recognised outstanding and unique commercial brand opportunities that retail environments offer, but has demonstrated the collaborative partnerships and dialogue between owners, managers, retailers, brands, agents, agencies and customers in delivering excellent retail experiences for the customer”.

Edward Cooke, Chief Executive of Revo says “Commercialisation is continuing to develop and innovate, establishing itself as an intrinsic part of owning and managing retail environments and destinations. Crucially, it’s the catalyst for future turnover growth, and we’re delighted to promote and support this activity through our Opal Awards programme which showcases the best in the marketplace”.
