New Management for Outlet Center in Montabaur, Germany

The center management and leasing of the Outlet Center in Montabaur (Germany) have been taken over by Outlet Centres International (OCI).

Philipp Dommermuth, Managing Director of FOG (owner of Fashion Outlet Grundbesitz GmbH & Co. KG ) explains: “We put the Covid-crisis behind us and are now optimistic for the future. Among other things, we are working on extending the sales area of the center by another 11,200 sq m.”

The Outlet Center opened in 2015, and it is located in the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate in the Westerwald region. It currently comprises more than 70 brands and five restaurants and cafés on a GLA of more than 13,500 sq m.

Stephan Schäfer, Managing Director of OCI says: “Our focus will be on new shopping and communication habits in order to create an up-to-date shopping experience, with strong brands and an exciting catering offer.“

It was already in the early 2000s, when both companies worked together successfully for several years in a joint-venture for the outlet center in Zweibrucken, Germany.
