New look for Designer Outlet Sosnowiec in Poland

Over 1,800 parking spaces, an upgraded façade, a new lifestyle area, and additional greenery are now open to the public at Designer Outlet Sosnowiec.

“The 11,450 sq m site offers a redesigned parking area as well as newly planted greenery, and a landscaped nature trail. In spring, visitors will be able to enjoy a unique chill-out area arranged opposite to the main ‘food court’ entrance to the center”, explains Dariusz Obołończyk, Center Manager.

“We are proud to offer guests a place to relax in a peaceful setting right next to the main entrance. Hidden among the freshly planted greenery, these areas are perfect to meet with family and friends, while enjoying a coffee, lunch or snack”, said Elżbieta Zygmunt, Marketing Manager at Designer Outlet Sosnowiec.

The center’s façade has also been given a fresh look with a dark red clinker, combined with the sand-colored and industrial plaster, matching the new atmosphere. In addition, the façade features logos and advertising graphics with a “halo effect”.

The investment called “Extension of the above-ground car park with technical infrastructure” represents a series of improvements, and a shift towards sustainable operation. The center was recently awarded a BREEAM certificate.

The main switchboard supplying the facility with electricity was modernised and the car park lighting was entirely replaced with LED technology. A new gas station was also built to keep the center heated, and customers who opt for zero-emission vehicles can now use up to 6EV charging stations, which is becoming an increasing trend in Poland.

Designer Outlet Sosnowiec is currently working to secure the required number of new leases planned for this year in order to start working on the expansion of the retail area.
