Ylva Sarby Westman new CFO of Kungsleden

Ylva Sarby Westman is to be the new CFO of Kungsleden. Ylva will remain the Group’s Deputy CEO. At the same time, Kungsleden’s management team will be strengthened by the addition of Fredrik Sandell, the company’s current Treasurer.

With 25 years in the industry, 11 of which in various senior positions at Kungsleden, she is one of the most experienced and well-qualified people in the real estate sector. Ylva has highly valuable expertise from the entire real estate business and is an experienced and much appreciated leader,” says Biljana Pehrsson, CEO of Kungsleden.

Ylva will succeed Kungsleden’s current CFO Magnus Jacobsson on 1 May this year.

“For me, this is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with our skilled and committed employees to develop Kungsleden’s accounting and finance function and take the next step on our continuing journey,” says Ylva Sarby Westman, Deputy CEO and incoming CFO of Kungsleden.

Ylva Sarby Westman was born in 1973 and has an Master of Science in Engineering with a specialisation in real estate finance from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. She was also Deputy CEO of Newsec Investment and Head of Property Development at NCC Property Development before starting at Kungsleden in 2009.Fredrik Sandell has worked for nine years at Kungsleden and has been the company’s Treasurer since 2016. He is an economics graduate from Mälardalen University and previously worked at Skandiabanken, amoung other companies.
