The Boulevard attracts iconic denim retailer

Levi’s is opening at The Boulevard, Northern Ireland, owned by Lotus Property.

Levi’s, the original blue jeans creator is set to open its doors in October 2019, joining established brands including GUESS, Nike and Skechers in a 2600 sq ft unit and creating 15 part-time and full-time jobs in the area.

The Boulevard store will be the only of its kind in Northern Ireland, offering a variety of discounts across a range of leading jeanswear and accessories. Levi’s is the seventh business this year to set its sights on The Boulevard, which has seen a 15% rise in footfall year-to-date and a 24% increase in sales across the same period. It joins new retailers Radley, Suit Direct, Samsonite and Jack and Jones Junior, amongst more than 50 established brands including Jack Wills and adidas.

Commenting on the announcement, Aisling Lenagh, Asset Manager, Lotus Property, said: “It’s fantastic to see The Boulevard continuing to grow as we welcome our seventh business to The Boulevard this year. The centre has enjoyed fantastic growth over the past year by way of sales volumes and visitor footfall, testament to the ever-growing selection of quality retail brands and products we offer as well as continuous investment in the shopper experience. We hope to continue on this growth trajectory throughout the rest of 2019 – especially as we head into the golden quarter.”

Chris Nelmes, Retail Director at The Boulevard added: “We are thrilled to see another global retailer joining us at The Boulevard and expanding our fashion offering. The arrival of Levi’s will complement our existing clothing brand portfolio and will enhance our fashion credentials.”

Richard Hurren, VP North Europe at Levi’s also commented: “We are looking forward to bringing Levi’s to The Boulevard and believe we have found the ideal home for our new store. We were attracted to the site due to its location and proximity to both Northern Irish shoppers and those from the Republic and we can’t wait to open our doors to the people of Banbridge and beyond.”

The Boulevard offers household brands at jaw-dropping prices with offers of up to 70% off the RRP.  Located directly beside the main A1 Belfast to Dublin road and with more than 2,000 free car parking spaces, The Boulevard makes picking up designer discounts easy.
