Westfield Centro to welcome new UNIQLO Store in 2026

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW)’s shopping and leisure destination, Westfield Centro is welcoming a new international fashion retailer, UNIQLO in the Spring of 2026.

With this new addition, UNIQLO brings a strong addition to Westfield Centro‘s diverse brand mix, becoming the first UNIQLO location in URW‘s German Portfolio.

According to plans, the global fashion retailer is set to operate 13 stores within Germany, with the upcoming, 850 squaremeter-store being only the second to open in a shopping center.

Kohsuke Kobayashi, Chief Operating Officer for UNIQLO Germany and Poland, said: “We are impressed by the positive response to our new store openings in the fall and are delighted to be able to build on this momentum and continue our expansion in Oberhausen in the spring. Westfield Centro is an important shopping center for the entire region, and our goal is to make UNIQLO LifeWear accessible to even more people in North Rhine-Westphalia.“

UNIQLO in Germany

Opening its global flagship store on Tauentzienstraße in Berlin in 2014 – UNIQLO has become an established household name on the market, promoting the “LifeWear” philosophy on the Germany market. Since then, the fashion retailer’s presence has grown to twelve stores in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, and Stuttgart.
