New Leadership at QUARREE Wandsbek: Adel Kachroudi Appointed as Center Manager

With two decades of experience in retail property management, Adel Kachroudi steps into the role of Center Manager at QUARREE Wandsbek, aiming to strengthen its role as a vibrant community hub in Hamburg’s largest district.

As of June 1, Adel Kachroudi has taken over as the new Center Manager of QUARREE Wandsbek, succeeding Frank Klüter, who led the center with distinction for over 19 years and is now entering a well-deserved retirement. Klüter’s legacy includes steady development and the successful positioning of QUARREE as a central meeting point in the Wandsbek district.

Adel Kachroudi brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Center Manager of the Nedderfeld Center in Hamburg. There, he was responsible for the daily operations, tenant mix strategy, activation of mall areas, and location-specific marketing and event planning.

“I’m truly excited to join the vibrant Wandsbek community and the team at QUARREE,” Kachroudi said. “Together, we’ll continue building on the center’s successful trajectory and ensure it remains a dynamic focal point for the neighborhood – with a diverse retail mix, a strong service commitment, and fresh new ideas for our visitors.”

Kachroudi is known for his hands-on approach, his close ties to both tenants and customers, and his strategic vision for site potential – qualities that position him to guide QUARREE’s next phase of development.

Located in Hamburg’s most populous and rapidly growing district with over 450,000 residents, QUARREE Wandsbek has long been a cornerstone of the community. With approximately 41,000 sq m of leasable space, the center features more than 90 retail stores, dining venues, a multiplex cinema, fitness studio, daycare center, and a private university. Its hallmark is the unique blend of major international brands and locally owned, individual concepts.

“What truly sets QUARREE apart is its mix of well-known names and personal, independent businesses. That diversity gives the center its character and forges a strong bond with the neighborhood – something I’m especially looking forward to nurturing,” Kachroudi added.

With the departure of Frank Klüter marking the end of an era, the appointment of Adel Kachroudi signals a new chapter for QUARREE Wandsbek – one focused on innovation, inclusivity, and continued community relevance.
