Queensberry appointed Keith Stone as leasing director

Stone will work as a consultant specifically supporting leasing for Heart of the City II in Sheffield and The Glass Works in Barnsley.

Previously, Stone has worked for major retail property and development companies including Land Securities and Lendlease. His projects include Bluewater, Cabot Circus Bristol and Grand Central Birmingham.

Paul Sargent, Chief Executive, Queensberry, commented: “This is an important time for two of our key projects, as Heart of the City II gains real momentum, with the completion of Grosvenor House and construction starting nearby on Blocks B and C of the masterplan. Whilst The Glass Works has a number of significant milestones approaching with construction work well underway for phase two of the scheme. This is combined with the opening of Market Kitchen, an independent food court, planned for later this year. Keith is well known in the industry, and has been a friend of Queensberry’s for many years. He understands the way we work, and will fit in with our strong sense of commitment and team spirit, which drives us to deliver the best results.”

Keith Stone said: “I am excited to be joining the experienced Queensberry team and leading the leasing on these two major projects. The Glass Works and Heart of the City II are at crucial stages of development, and it is a great time to be brought on board. I am looking forward to contributing to these two significant mixed use developments, both of which bring place making to the fore.”
