Taco Bell to land in Munich

Lehmann Holding launches Bavaria expansion with up to 15 locations across the region.

Munich-based Lehmann Hotel und Gaststätten Holding GmbH is bringing Taco Bell to the Bavarian market, backed by an exclusive territorial license, established operational experience, and a BaFin-compliant security token offering. For the first time, retail investors can gain direct exposure to a fast food rollout of this scale.

The company holds the exclusive franchise license for developing and operating Taco Bell locations across Bavaria, making it the only authorized franchisee of the global quick-service brand in the state. The holding plans to build up to 15 locations by 2031, with the first units targeted for Munich’s Riem and Freiham districts and set to open before the end of 2026.

Taco Bell: Brand Profile

Taco Bell is part of NYSE-listed restaurant group Yum! Brands and ranks among the five largest QSR brands globally with more than 8,000 locations worldwide. In Germany, the brand is targeting a minimum of 100 locations through a regional franchise network, offering tacos, burritos, nachos, and related Mexican-style menu items.

Christian Lehmann: Operator Background

The Bavaria rollout is led by Christian Lehmann, a trained hospitality professional and chef with a business degree and extensive management experience, including a senior role overseeing VIP operations at Allianz Arena. He has led Lehmann Holding since 2011, with the group generating approximately 20 million euros in annual revenue across hotels, catering, corporate food service, and institutional meal programs for clinics and schools. These long-term public contracts provide a stable earnings base that supports the more growth-intensive franchise business.

Lehmann has already demonstrated scalability. Since 2021 he has operated Korean fast food brand Mmaah across Bavaria, reaching four locations in under four years with annual revenue growth of around 30 percent, with eight units planned by 2028. Delivery integration, ghost kitchen operations, and standardized training procedures developed under Mmaah now form the operational foundation for the Taco Bell rollout.

Retail Investor Access via Tokenized Participation Right

Alongside its physical expansion, Lehmann Holding is opening the investment case to outside capital through a regulated digital participation instrument. The structure gives retail investors direct access to the group’s overall performance — a format previously limited to institutional capital.
