The leasing department of Echo Investment finalized the lease of the last unit just before the opening of an extended part of Galaxy in Szczecin. The Polish Pako Lorente brand is to open a shop offering men’s fashion over an area of more than 150 sq m.

The extended part of the Galaxy shopping centre has an area of 16,500 sq m. Companies which have been invited to this project include: Reserved, Forever21, CCC, Media Expert, a Calypso fitness club, Go Sport, Deichmann, Rossmann, Smyk, Sephora and Medicine. The excellent tenant mix has been appreciated by customers who once again awarded Galaxy with the Golden Customer Laurel and the Customer Laurel – Grand Prix 2017 for the most recognizable shopping centre in the region. Echo Investment is responsible for the construction and lease of the facility for EPP, which is the owner and manager of Galaxy.

“Galaxy is the thirtieth retail project carried out by Echo Investment and we are proud of the fact that it is also our thirtieth success. Thanks to the contract with Pako Lorente we can hand Galaxy over to its owner with a hundred per cent lease. This is a well-known and appreciated shopping centre but its new part will certainly additionally increase its attractiveness. A few weeks ago we completed the last stage of Outlet Park in Szczecin, which is also part of EPP’s portfolio, and was also fully leased. I am glad that Echo Investment has such a significant influence on the retail map of Szczecin,” says Marcin Materny, member of the board at Echo Investment, who is responsible for investments in the retail sector.

Pako Lorente is a Polish brand which specializes in elegant men’s fashion and offers suits, jackets and coats. The company is characterized by the modern and friendly design of its shops: metal shelves combined with the warm, natural colour of wood, provide them with an elegant yet masculine character. The interior of the Pako Lorente shops undoubtedly distinguishes the brand from its competitors.

The Galaxy shopping and entertainment centre was completed in 2003 but it has been extended since 2016. After the opening of the new section, on 15 of November, it will include nearly 200 shops and service outlets over an area of nearly 60,000 sq m. Galaxy is located in the centre of Szczecin and it offers a five-storey car park for 1,500 cars. Since 2016 it has been included in the portfolio of EPP, which is responsible for the management of the facility.
