The remodelling of the outlet center that was finished at the end of 2023 has contributed to a large increase in visitor numbers and brand sales at the location, and continues to inspire the industry, as can be seen by its position as a finalist for ‘Best Refurbishment and Expansion Project’ at the 2024 MAPIC Awards.

“One of the most surefire ways for management companies to optimize revenue for brands is to find ways to improve customer loyalty and to ensure both new and repeat visits,” states Sergio Jiménez, Marketing & IT Director at NEINVER.

According to Regio Data’s most recent report, while brick-and-mortar retailing throughout Europe has been in decline for years, factory outlet centers are developing magnificently. In total, the sales area of the 180 outlet centers is already around 4.6 million sq m, compared with 3.3 million sq m a decade ago. This results in an increased rate of almost 40% – and another 18 projects are in the planning stage.

Amsterdam The Style Outlet has made it clear that the experience element is a key component in its value proposition. Although shopping remains the primary attraction, creating a space where people can go to meet up and spend time together is a crucial part of the outlet’s growth strategy. Both the increasing number of visitors and rising sales figures at the centre show that its efforts to offer a go-to destination that brings people together and provides a unique shopping experience are proving very popular – the figures speak for themselves.

Denim brand Levi’s® has opened a new store in Amsterdam The Style Outlets, the center operated by Spanish multinational NEINVER. The more than 400 sq m store will offer a wide selection of Levi’s® world-renowned products, including the 501® classic jeans, as well as a vast range of other denim jeans, jackets, shirts and accessories.

“Retail has become an experiential interface, and the outlet proposition offers a key difference,” states Daniel Losantos. On the occasion of the ACROSS anniversary, the CEO of NEINVER took the opportunity to reflect on the last few years and to look ahead to the future, despite the uncertainty in which we find ourselves today.
