Sloane Stanley is pleased to announce the launch event of The King’s Road Design Collective, a group of design retailers joining force to support the creativity and artistry which is at the heart of the King’s Road.

The event, taking place on Thursday 11 October, will mark the first in a series of events the collective will hold, in order to enhance experiential retail and consumer engagement.

The collective, currently consisting of retailers: Designers Guild, Nina’s House, Osborne & Little, Poliform, Sigmar and William Yeoward, will come together to offer consumers and trade customers the best interior design, products and services. For their inaugural event as a collective, the brands are taking a hands-on approach: each brand will offer design-led activities such as moodboard masterclasses, woodcare workshops, creating an interior scheme, design planning and other workshops alongside special discounts on the day.

Hannah Grievson, Commercial Property Manager at Sloane Stanley, commented: “The Design Collective is an exciting new venture for the creative peers within the King’s Road. Interior design retailers have consistently flourished in this particular part of the King’s Road and a collective is a great way to celebrate this. I am confident that the events will be hugely popular and will add another unique layer to the design scene on the King’s Road.”

Amanda Back, Head of Communications at Designers Guild, added: “We are very excited to be part of The King’s Road Design Collective, it is a unique opportunity to celebrate the wealth of design available here in Chelsea. There is so much knowledge, flair and expertise in this short stretch of the King’s Road. We want to create a wonderful experience for both the trade and retail shopper and we think that the launch event will be a great way to showcase what we have to offer as a collective. The King’s Road is such a special location and we are looking forward to creating the ultimate design destination with interesting events and activities.
