New managing director for Schwitzke & Partner

Marie Ernst takes over management position of the brand experts.

New dual leadership for Schwitzke & Partner: With the beginning of this month, Marie Ernst joins the managing board of the brand experts. Therefore, she is going to lead the internationally active subsidiary of the Schwitzke Group and its teams located in Düsseldorf and Dubai together with Tina Jokisch. With her new position, Marie Ernst succeeds Richard Wörösch, who has lead the company before for ten years.

With the new management duo, Schwitzke & Partner furthermore positions itself future-oriented and with comprehensive competence to develop spaces for brands and experience. As a colleague of many years within the architects’ team, Marie Ernst provides a wide brand knowhow, excellent knowledge of target groups, and well-founded expertise in the company’s industry.

After studying Interior Design at Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf she gained first experiences in Retail and Wholesale at the US-American textile company American Apparel.

Afterwards, the Westphalian born proved herself in the trade industry by founding her own company in order to distribute furniture and interior pieces. Marie Ernst joined Schwitzke in the year 2012. Since then, she and her team developed and implemented holistic retail and shopping center concepts that received great acclaim in the international industry. The latest outstanding project the 38-year-old was responsible for is the Mall of Switzerland, which opened at the end of 2017 as Switzerland’s biggest shopping and leisure destination.

“We got to know Marie Ernst as a strong and leading personality and we are very happy to see two women at the top of a Schwitzke company for the first time”, say Karl and Klaus Schwitzke, who have been leading the company since almost 30 years as managing partners. “Furthermore, we want to thank Richard Wörösch for almost 20 years of successful and trusting cooperation. For his next steps and challenges we wish him all the best and much success.”
