Ugly Dumpling, Nanny Bills, Smoky Boys, Mitsuryu and Cut + Grind are amongst the street food vendors that will open at Boxpark this December, which will be home to 27 independent traders and a 20,000 sq ft event space. Boxpark Wembley will be situated in The Village, one of the four distinct retail districts that make up the 85-acre mixed-use Wembley Park site, which recently welcomed artisanal coffee shop, Blacksheep.

The regeneration of Wembley Park is creating a vibrant new community of people who are choosing to live and work at Wembley Park, and, with a regular planned programme of live events throughout the year, Boxpark Wembley will be instrumental in realising this vision.”
The opening weekend will feature a Rinse FM takeover; once London’s biggest pirate radio station, the takeover will combine live performances from emerging local performers and world-renowned artists and DJs, including The Heatwave, Heartless Crew, Redlight and Unknown T. A further special guest appearance is yet to be announced with all profits from the night donated to Boxpark’s partner charity. Ticket holders can also take part in a special Bing Lingo event.

Wembley Park is set to attract over 20 million visitors a year upon completion, with over £300m annual retail spend predicted, putting it ahead of London districts such as Camden, Victoria and Ealing Broadway. The majority of retail and leisure will be completed by 2020. In addition to Boxpark, it will be home to over 40 new shops, restaurants and services, complementing the current retail and casual dining offer at London Designer Outlet (LDO), the capital’s leading fashion and lifestyle outlet centre.
The overall vision for Wembley Park includes the largest build-to-rent development on a single site in the UK, which will be home to 20,000 full time residents by 2027. Managed by Tipi, residents will have access to a host of convenience and community-led services, including no fees, shared amenity spaces, a 24/7 concierge and all utility bills included within the rent.
In its ambition to create a vibrant new neighbourhood for North West London, Quintain is also committed to delivering a programme of community engagement initiatives. “The Yellow” provides social space for a variety of workshops and activities for those that live, work and study in the area. Second Floor Studios & Arts (SFSA) provides 29 affordable studio space to makers and creatives.
