AX | ARMANI EXCHANGE OPENS ITS FIRST STORE OUTSIDE LONDON AT LIVERPOOL ONE

Grosvenor Europe announces that AX | Armani Exchange, the premium fashion brand for men and women, is to join the Liverpool ONE line-up with the opening of its debut standalone store outside London.

The 3,169 sq ft boutique opened on Peter’s Lane on June 16 and is the first AX | Armani Exchange to launch since JD Sport Fashion plc announced it would be opening a series of premium boutiques across the UK.

Commenting on the news, Alison Clegg, Director, Asset Management, Grosvenor Europe said: “AX | Armani Exchange complements the lineup on Peter’s Lane, adding another designer store to Liverpool ONE’s unique offer. The decision by the JD Sport Fashion plc to select Liverpool ONE for the first new AX | Armani Exchange store outside London is a reflection of our status as the destination for global brands.”

AX | Armani Exchange joins Reiss, Tessuti, Hugo Boss, Ted Baker and Michael Kors on Peter’s Lane, which is anchored by Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols and Flannels. In addition, COS recently opened its first regional store in the North West at the entrance to Liverpool ONE’s Peter’s Lane and ARKET is due to open later this year.

The news follows a recent study that revealed Liverpool has been the most consistent major regional city in the UK in terms of retail signings since the start of 2008*.
Cushman & Wakefield and Metis Real Estate Advisors acted for Liverpool ONE. JD Sport Fashion plc dealt direct.
