Atrium Group has completed the extension of another Warsaw shopping centre in its portfolio - Atrium Reduta. Adding approx. 4,000 sqm of new GLA , encompassing the offer of two new key tenants, with strengthened leisure and entertainment segment: a six-screen Cinema 3D and a modern fitness club - CityFit. Currently, the total GLA of Atrium Reduta amounts to approximately 50,000 sqm.

The Atrium European Real Estate has been modernizing and expanding its facilities for a few years, taking inspiration from global trends, innovations appearing on the market, as well as monitoring and anticipating new customers’ expectations and lifestyle patterns. The company strengthens its position in the capital city by creating unique places that combine shopping, leisure and urban entertainment in an extraordinary way.

Over the last few weeks we have opened three extensions and finalised the acquisition of Wars Sawa Junior in the city centre. We are continuing our expansion and modernization of our Warsaw shopping centres – Atrium Promenada, Atrium Targówek and Atrium Reduta. The extensions and refurbishments were carried out with a focus on expanding the fashion and leisure components and at the same time offering customers new opportunities to spend their free time actively in our refreshed and extended centres. After home and work, we want to make our centres the so-called third places where people want to meet friends after work or spend time with family in a relaxed and friendly environment. We want Atrium Reduta to become such a place in densely populated urban area of Ochota, Warsaw, says Scott Dwyer, COO of the Atrium Group.

Atrium Reduta – the centre of urban entertainment

Atrium Reduta – the centre, known for its well-developed service offer, easy access and convenient shopping, has been enriched with a six-screen multiplex cinema. The first cinema in Ochota which is equipped with the most modern technological solutions, including the Barco ESCAPE panoramic multiscreen, 4K digital projectors and 3D projections in the DepthQ 3D system, as well as Dolby ATMOS advanced surround sound system.

The new Cinema 3D will provide its viewers with premiere screenings in 2D/4K and 3D technology and a wide range of alternative offers. All cinemas are fully air-conditioned and adapted to the needs of the disabled. The facility is equipped with the most modern cinema and technical solutions available on the market.

We always reach for the most modern cinema-technical solutions available in the market at any given moment. Thanks to this, we can create friendly and technologically advanced cinema facilities. The CINEMA3D cinema in Atrium Reduta will be the most modern of its kind in Warsaw’, comments Jarosław Pantol, Vice-President of the Board of Cinema3D SA.

Customers of the shopping centre can also take advantage of the CityFit fitness club, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In a spacious, modern interior, visitors can enjoy premium class equipment (e.g. TechnoGym, Matrix) and numerous amenities such as fountains with filtered water or a chill-out zone where they can rest after training.

Our access system allows you to use the club 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Club members don’t have to remember to wear a membership card, and with full control over who is currently training, we can provide comfort and safety even when the club is in unmanned mode, for example at night or during holidays,’ says Karolina Bałaban, PR Manager of the CityFit network.

The interior of the modern club has been divided into 8 zones, which include a group fitness room, cardio zone, free weight zone, resistance training machines zone, functional zone, warm up and cool down zone and relaxation zone, where you can rest after training. The club members will have at their disposal about 300 training devices of renowned brands.

Atrium Reduta – opening to convenience

Atrium Reduta, by reconstructing the tenants’ mix and expanding the leisure & entertainment segment, adapts to expanding new needs imposed by the urban lifestyle of the surrounding residents and employees of business parks adjacent to the centre. The centre offers an increasingly wider range of high quality and diversified ways spending time, regardless of the time or day of the week.

A significant improvement for parents visiting the centre is the new free Brykuś playground for children, filled with large blocks, mats and tunnels. Parents of the youngest children have at their disposal childcare rooms, equipped with changing tables, microwave ovens and comfortable armchairs. Customers can also may decide to use the privileged, marked parking spaces for families and pregnant women.

Car sharing and electric cars chargers are desirable services in the city centre – also available in Atrium Reduta.

The opening of new spaces in the Atrium Reduta is followed by numerous attractions. Customers of the centre can take part in competitions as well as vote or share their opinion in street polls, with vouchers to the cinema or fitness as rewards. Visitors to the centre will also be able to watch the performances of the Comedy Club. There is also a film zone – a space reminiscent of a stage where Oscars are handed out, as well as a sports area imitating a gym.
